Coaching & Mentoring.
Coaching and/or mentoring can be a good way to develop your skills or support you through challenging times at work.
A coach will typically support you in the shorter-term and is goal-orientated; developing goals, action plans and measurable outcomes. The relationship is often more professional and will support you to improve certain skills or achieve certain objectives
A mentor will typically support you longer-term; developing your confidence, helping you to navigate your career and make life decisions. The relationship is often informal, based on mutual trust and respect. A mentor will often share their own experiences of a particular industry or line of work
If you are looking for a career coach, there a few (hand-picked by Human Too) exceptional coaches listed below. Follow the links to find out more about them and get in touch. Note: you will need to pay for coaching. Mention Accountancy Hub to ensure you are offered the best possible price!
If you are looking for a mentor, it is advisable to find one through networking within your company or industry. A guide to finding the perfect mentor can be found here. We have, however, listed a few lovely mentors below who you may want to contact if you are looking for support within that particular industry. All our mentors are volunteering their time to support you with your career.
Don’t forget to say you’ve found them through Accountancy Hub, thank you!
