If you are not content with your morning routine, try asking yourself the following questions which could help you to adapt your routine so that it is more relaxing and also more productive.
In a society where looking busy and stressed is glamorised, lets try to be productive rather than busy.
Current Wake-Up Time: What time do you usually wake up?
Does this time allow you to have a relaxed morning or are you rushing out the door? Could you adjust this time for a more relaxed yet productive morning?
Morning Activities: What do you currently do in the morning ?
(e.g., breakfast, exercise, reading, study)
Are you able to give these activities your full attention? Do you need more time? Or can you cut out something?
Energy Levels: What activities make you feel energised in the morning?
Coffee? Exercise? Listening to a podcast or the radio?
Goals: What are your main goals for the day or week that you want to focus on?
Thinking about these in the morning can set you up for a more productive day or week.
